What is the MSA app on Xiaomi devices?

Xiaomi devices are cheap and it’s quite understandable. The company does not seek some profits from equipment sales. It increases funds from software system environment. The software circulation arises among developed hardware tools which the company sales. Apart from usual subscription, which is a common practice to make money from software sales, Xiaomi allows ads to run in system apps. The latter is highly annoying.

Fortunately, there is a trick, which might be useful to get rid of adds in system apps. You can disable them. To employ it you have to follow the next steps.

  1. Find “Settings” and open it;
  2. Scroll down the menu, find the advanced settings in “System and device” section;
  3. On the new page tap “Private data access” button;
  4. Tap the box next to “MSA” option in the present list.

If you did not know what’s “MSA”, you know now that is means MIUI System Ads. So, turned it off you have practically disabled the adds coming from MIUI system app. That’s just it! You have done what you needed!
